Appealing but seamless design for Acura.com

Role: Lead Designer

This Acura.com project was a pursuit that I did at R/GA. Since Acura is a brother brand of Honda, we took a strategy that makes ACURA more sexy and slick than Honda. I was in charge of designing the homepage and a car configurator flow.

Homepage

Highly visual design that shows characteristics of Acura's car design. Also, when a user taps into the featured vehicle, it reveals high-level features of the vehicle. User can build their car or AV test drive with the machine.

Building your car with this 3D animated configurator. Picking multiple options for your car could be more fun and seamless, like playing a video game.
